I'm trying to get excited about embroidery again and I sort of am..... I still love the end result but I'm just kind of bored with the process. Oh, well, maybe it's because embroidery is my winter project. The ones I work on when the craft room is too cold for sewing and I can curl up with a blanket, my needle & thread and just veg out to some tv. Geez, with all this horrible hot weather, winter is starting to sound really good about now.

maybe you need to learn new stitches? you know, like different sexual positions -- to shake things up a bit.
I hadn't embroidered anything for half the summer, but I sat down to do a blanket stitch around an applique the other day and thought, oh, yea. This is fun.
Hi, there, cute Maisy! Aidin says hi, too.
I haven't embroidered all summer. I didn't realise it, until you wrote it, but for me, embroidery is a winter project too. Sitting on the sofa, under a quilt, with the TV on.
There's absolutely no reason it couldn't be a summer projec too. It's just not.
I have to make a nice warm blanket to curl up with before worrying about embroidering. I did embroidery for the first time this winter and really enjoyed it.
How is your girl so damn cute?
What a lovely shirt... your daughter looks so cute wearing it!
Yea, I know what you mean about embroidery. I do love it, but I get burned out on it quickly. I think I like the IDEA of it. :) And this weather! HEAT SUCKS!! Bring on the snow! :)
