What I did on my summer vacation...

After a recent conversation where I discussed my many sewing fails as of late, I thought it would be good to post my one big sewing win.  This pretty cathedral window pillow.  Yep, I said pillow because that's all the patience I had.  While I love the finished result, getting there was a true test of my endurance.  It took two full months, one camping trip where it got left in the rain & stained , two road trips, tons of safety pins & straight pins and one too many spots that didn't match up just right for my comfort.  Someday I'd like to make a full sized quilt.

But right now...I'm just going to enjoy my pillow.

I love it. At least you got a pillow done. If it was me they would all still be sitting in a pile....
