Things I have learned......

1. not to think about how many times the cat has probably drank out of my cup that I don't know about.

2. my almost two year old son can climb to the top of the diaper changing table.

3. I don't look good in fancy dresses but my daughter does.

4. I'm massively uncomfortable purchasing strapless bras especially if a sales woman is standing outside my dressing room. (also why I don't like fancy dresses)

5. mindfulness is really difficult for me. Not so hard that I want to give up but hard enough that I realize how much pointless clutter is constantly in my mind.

6. that maybe teaching my children to say "Shake Your Booty" was a bad idea.

7. three weeks goes by quickly even though you thought about blogging every day.

8. that Christmas is coming waaaay too soon.

9. at age 31, I finally used some of my math skills. Woo Hoo, all those painful math classes weren't in vain!

10. that if you drop your camera while shopping with Lori, it will break. Leaving you sad and your posts pictureless.

11. it's a good thing to be married to a photographer who doesn't mind when you borrow his pictures, especially since he got a good one of the Halloween skirt.

Oh man, shopping is good. Dropping your camera is bad. I hope you get a replacement soon! Your princess is looking adorable, as usual! ;)

Oh my lord, your girl is so effing cute!!!!

Aren't lessons a bitch?

I don't look good in fancy dresses either and I'd probably make any bra saleslady so miserable she'd immediately rethink her career.

It is never a bad idea to teach your children important phrases such as "shake your booty". I only hope that someday (waaaaaaaaaay off in the future) when I have kids, Maisy will teach these classic words to them.

I miss all of you so much. Definately burst out into tears when Maisy stole the phone from Uncle John on Sunday "I want to talk to Erin, it's my turn!!" Mostly because she's so sweet and I miss her, but also out of greatfulness.

She's one smart kid.

P.S. Ask Matt if he can start superimposing my face into family photos. I saw one from my grandma's birthday...and I'm tired of not being in them!!!
